Jung Jinyoung Is A Clumsy Producer Trying To Debut A Girl Group In Upcoming Drama “Who Is She!” Poster

KBS2’s upcoming drama “Who Is She!” has released a new poster featuring Jung Jinyoung!

A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She!” is a music romance drama about a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old and gets a second chance at living out her dreams.

Jung Jinyoung takes on the role of Daniel Han, a former idol group leader turned head producer at Eunice Entertainment. While working on his final project—a girl group—he discovers Emily (Jung Ji So), a trainee with exceptional emotional depth, and chooses her as the group’s center. However, his plans are upended when Emily suddenly vanishes.

Amid the chaos, Daniel encounters Oh Doo Ri (also played by Jung Ji So), who shares Emily’s appearance but has an even more captivating emotional presence. Determined to debut Oh Doo Ri as the group’s star, Daniel embarks on a journey filled with unexpected challenges and adventures.

Jung Jinyoung described “Who Is She!” as “happiness,” saying, “Our project isn’t dark but instead full of bright, happy energy. I’ve always valued the word ‘happiness,’ and when I think of ‘Who Is She!’ that’s the first thing that comes to mind.”

He also highlighted the differences between the original movie and the drama. “The story and setting are quite different. The biggest change is probably the addition of the idol girl group training concept,” he said. “In the movie, I played the grandson, but this time, I’m playing a completely different role as a producer. It feels like a character I can take on now that I’m older.” Jung Jinyoung promised to showcase a fresh and unique side of himself in the drama.

Reflecting on the filming process, Jung Jinyoung shared, “Before shooting, I had many conversations with Ji So. She’s an incredibly talented actress, and working with her taught me a lot and gave me new insights. I think viewers will really enjoy the synergy and chemistry we created.”

The newly released character poster highlights Jung Jinyoung’s striking visuals, drawing attention. The tagline, “A star idol back then, now a clumsy producer?!” piques curiosity about his character’s fall from a celebrated idol to an inept producer. With the expanded storyline, viewers are eager to see how Jung Jinyoung reinvents the role, marking a departure from his previous performance in the film.
