Watch: Ryeoun, Go Hyun Jung, And Yoon Sang Hyun Team Up To Heal And Pursue Their Dreams In New Drama "Namib"
ENA’s upcoming drama “Namib” has released its main trailer ahead of the premiere!
“Namib” depicts the meeting of former entertainment agency CEO Kang Soo Hyun (Go Hyun Jung) and longtime trainee Yoo Jin Woo (Ryeoun), who gets kicked out of his agency, as they each head toward their own goals.
The newly released video starts with a scene where Kang Soo Hyun is fired from the company she founded, while Yoo Jin Woo is thrown out of his agency, burdened with a debt of 200 million won (approximately $141,000) he must repay.
As both characters lose the light in their lives, Soo Hyun crosses paths with Jin Woo and makes him an offer, saying, “I’m a director. I need a kid who’s going to be profitable.” Her husband Shim Joon Seok (Yoon Sang Hyun) then asks Joon Seok, “Would you like to join us?” in a manner quite different from his wife’s.
The trailer continues to show Jin Woo practicing dancing in a practice room and playing guitar in a park, while a voice-over narrates, “I’ll make you not regret,” hinting at his determination to secure a better future.
As the teaser draws to a close, Soo Hyun asks Jin Woo, “What is it that you really want to do?” while handing him a contract document. This moment leaves viewers intrigued about their relationship dynamic and whether Jin Woo will ultimately rise to become a star idol.
