Lee Seung Gi Shaves His Own Head In Upcoming Film "About Family"
The upcoming film “About Family” has unveiled striking new stills of Lee Seung Gi!
“About Family” tells the story of the owner of Pyungmanok, a popular dumpling restaurant, who suddenly finds himself living with unexpected guests—two adorable grandchildren he never knew he had. Ham Moo Ok (Kim Yun Seok), the owner of the restaurant, believed his family line had ended when his son Ham Moon Seok (Lee Seung Gi) became a monk.
The newly released stills capture the moment where Ham Moon Seok shaves his own head, a decision he makes after choosing to become a monk. In the images, he is seen holding a hair clipper and placing it on his head, with a stern expression indicating his determination. This raises viewers’ curiosity about what drove him to make such a profound decision.
Lee Seung Gi shared his experience, revealing that he started the day by shaving his head while filming the movie. “The good script, [the opportunity to work with] senior actor Kim Yun Seok, and the direction of director Yang Woo Seok made me not hesitate at all about shaving my head. It was actually after filming that I had trouble because my hair didn’t grow back as quickly as I expected.”
“About Family” is set to hit theaters on December 11.
