Watch: Lee Min Ho And Gong Hyo Jin Aren't Looking To Save The World In Cheeky Teaser For New Drama "When The Stars Gossip"
tvN’s upcoming drama “When the Stars Gossip” has released a playful new teaser!
“When the Stars Gossip” will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who has arrived with a secret mission.
The new teaser begins with a dramatic scenario in which the end of the world is imminent. With the fate of humankind on the line, a team of astronauts heads into space on a life-or-death mission, and they ultimately save the world from impending doom.
It’s a storyline we’ve seen in many films before—but, according to Eve Kim, we won’t be seeing it in this particular drama. At the end of the teaser, Gong Ryong asks her, “If we go to space, will we be able to save Earth too?” Eve Kim replies, “Nah, that’s very unlikely.” Gong Ryong responds, “Then what will do we in space?”
As the Korean title of the drama is “Ask the Stars,” Eve Kim cheekily answers, “I don’t know. Ask the stars.”
In contrast to the “top-class space action blockbuster” that the narrator was advertising at the beginning of the teaser, the narrator then playfully describes “When the Stars Gossip” as “just” a space drama.
