Will Lee Hak Joo’s trail of evildoings finally catch up to him on “Parole Examiner Lee”?

“Parole Examiner Lee” is a new tvN drama starring Go Soo as Lee Han Shin, a lawyer who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.

On the previous episode of “Parole Examiner Lee,” Ji Myeong Seop (Lee Hak Joo) murdered Choi Jung Hak, who had evidence of his crimes, after returning to Korea.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Ahn Seo Yun arrives at the scene of Choi Jung Hak’s murder. As she examines Choi Jung Hak’s body with a sharp, discerning gaze, her determination to uncover the truth behind the crime and catch the culprit is palpable. Because Ahn Seo Yun was already looking into the connection between Ji Myeong Seop and Choi Jung Hak, she immediately identifies Ji Myeong Seop as a key suspect as she begins investigating the murder.

Meanwhile, another set of photos captures Ji Myeong Seop facing off with his father, Ji Dong Man (Song Young Chang). Despite Ji Dong Man’s warning not to do anything that could lead to gossip, Ji Myeong Seop disobeyed his father’s orders and got into trouble as soon as he returned to the country.

Furious at his son, Ji Dong Man explodes in a violent outburst—and as the conflict between father and son escalates, it’s unclear whether he will continue to act as a shield for Ji Myeong Seop and cover up his crimes.

The “Parole Examiner Lee” production team teased, “The egocentric actions of Ji Myeong Seop, who has never properly paid the price for his crimes, will become a turning point in the second half of our drama.”

They continued, “Please look forward to Ahn Seo Yun chasing after him and the whirlwind of plot that will be created by their battle.”
