Watch: Jung Ji So And Jung Jinyoung Navigate A Budding Romance Amid Her Hidden Secrets In Teaser For “Who Is She!”
KBS2’s upcoming drama “Who Is She!” has unveiled a new highlight teaser!
A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She!” is a music romance drama about Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook), a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into 20-year-old Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), and gets a second chance at living out her dreams of becoming a singer.
In the newly released teaser, viewers get a glimpse of Oh Mal Soon and Oh Doo Ri’s intense challenges of being an idol trainee.
The video begins with Mal Soon marveling at her transformation, asking, “Do I look like a granny to you, or a young lady?” With renewed determination, she tells herself, “Since you’ve left behind your old body, let’s throw away your old thoughts too, Oh Mal Soon!”
Meanwhile, producer Daniel Han (Jung Jinyoung) from Unis Entertainment is on the hunt for Emily (Jung Ji So), a missing idol trainee. Upon discovering Oh Doo Ri—who looks exactly like Emily—Daniel recruits her as a trainee. With only three months until her debut, Mal Soon decides to live as Oh Doo Ri.
Doo Ri pours her heart into practicing singing and dancing, striving to achieve her dreams despite facing resistance from fellow trainees who see her as a threat. As the debut date nears, Doo Ri and Daniel grow closer, sharing secret moments that hint at a budding romance. Doo Ri starts to feel fluttering emotions, prompting her to question whether she’s allowed to feel this way.
Towards the end of the teaser, tension rises as Kim Ae Shim (Cha Hwa Yun) becomes increasingly uneasy about the growing closeness between Doo Ri and Daniel. Ae Shim confronts Doo Ri with a chilling warning, saying, “I could come up with hundreds of reasons to get rid of you.” Her anxiety over Doo Ri’s striking resemblance to Mal Soon, both in personality and talent, suggests a deeper connection between the two women.
