MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” has shared a glimpse of a heart-fluttering moment from its next episode!

Based on a popular web novel, “When the Phone Rings” tells the story of Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), a couple that married for convenience—and the the romance that blossoms between them after a threatening phone call.

With the highly anticipated broadcast just a day away, the production team released stills from episodes 5 and 6, offering a sneak peek at the couple’s romantic moments.

Sa Eon, eager to welcome Hee Joo to her new role as a sign language interpreter, prepares a gift. But his excitement turns to jealousy when he sees a message exchange between Hee Joo and Ji Sang Woo (Heo Nam Jun). Unlike his usual composed demeanor, Sa Eon’s furrowed brow and visible discomfort signal the emergence of jealousy. Viewers are eagerly anticipating this new side of the character.

A company dinner is held to welcome the new interpreter. Sa Eon, acting oddly, ignores his colleagues and focuses on Hee Joo. His subtle smile while looking at her sparks excitement, leaving viewers wondering what will happen next.

Later, Sa Eon and Hee Joo are seen having fun at a company outing. Sa Eon even takes off his jacket to get serious about winning a game, while Hee Joo smiles at him. The couple photo of the two making a heart with their hands sparks anticipation as fans wonder if they will confess their feelings. The next episode promises a major turning point in their relationship.

Episode 5 of “When the Phone Rings” will air on December 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST, and episode 6 will air on December 14 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
