Tang Jun Sang Confirmed To Star In Upcoming Zombie Drama “Newtopia”

Tang Jun Sang is set to star in the upcoming Coupang Play drama “Newtopia”!

“Newtopia” tells the story of Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), who is serving in the military, and his girlfriend Young Joo (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo) as they run toward each other across the zombie-infested city of Seoul.

Tang Jun Sang plays Sam Soo, a student retaking the college entrance exam for the third time. Sam Soo becomes a dependable ally to Young Joo and her group as they search for Jae Yoon, injecting energy and excitement into the storyline.

Known for his remarkable versatility, Tang Jun Sang has shone in dramas like “Crash Landing on You” and “Racket Boys” as well as films such as “In Our Prime” and “Dog Days.” Most recently, he returned to historical dramas after nearly five years with his 2024 KBS Drama Special “The History of Us,” earning critical acclaim for his compelling portrayal of emotional conflict with Nam Da Reum’s character.
