Upcoming Drama "Check in Hanyang" Announces Broadcast Time Change And Unveils Charming Character Posters
Channel A has announced a change in the broadcast time for “Check in Hanyang” and revealed a set of new character posters!
According to Channel A, “Check in Hanyang” will now air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. KST, moving from its original 7:50 p.m. time slot.
Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about youths who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon.
The newly released posters, which resemble the welcome kits provided at inns, highlight the visuals, personalities, and goals of the main characters—collectively known as the “Trouble 4.”
First, Lee Eun Ho (Bae In Hyuk) is shown with a wooden room key with the message, “How impudent! I told you not to act recklessly.” Eun Ho is a prince who has joined Yongcheonru while secretly hiding his identity. Due to his royal status, he often uses the word “impudent,” a term he’s accustomed to using in the palace.
Hong Duk Soo(Kim Ji Eun)’s room key reads, “The man Hong Duk Soo! My goal is Yongcheonru.” Duk Soo is a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru and uncover the secret behind her father’s death. Despite various challenges such as sharing a room with men, she navigates adversity with her talents, wit, and determination.
Meanwhile, Cheon Jun Hwa (Jung Gun Joo) is the only heir to Yongcheonru, sent by his father to train at the inn. Having lived as a playboy for most of his life, he develops a sense of camaraderie with the “Trouble 4″ and becomes more serious about it. His room key reflects his growth, reading, “Let us sail together in the same boat and cross the storm.”
Lastly, Ko Soo Ra (Jaechan) is a character with a strong desire to restore his family’s fallen name by succeeding at the inn. He is a righteous person who values morality and principles. His room key, which says, “But that is not right!” embodies his firm beliefs and convictions.
The production team of “Check in Hanyang” commented, “We aimed to intuitively express the dazzling visuals and individual personalities of the ‘Trouble 4’ through the poster with a welcome kit concept.” They added, “Set against the backdrop of the largest inn in Joseon, we hope viewers look forward to the exciting story that these four characters will create with their own background and goals.”
“Check in Hanyang” will premiere on December 21 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
