Kim Nam Gil Poses As A Woman And Takes On Sung Joon In A Chess Duel In “The Fiery Priest 2”
SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2” has offered a glimpse of Kim Nam Gil and Sung Joon’s intense showdown.
A sequel to the hit 2019 drama about priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) with anger management issues, “The Fiery Priest 2” follows his story as he takes on the boss role of an organization by night and heads to Busan to fight the top drug cartel in the country.

In the previous episode, Kim Hae Il discovered that his former NIS senior Jung Seok Hee (Shin Eun Jung) had been kidnapped and taken aboard Kim Hong Shik’s (Sung Joon) ship. To infiltrate the ship, Kim Hae Il disguised himself as Michaela, the mentor Unnie of Goo Ja Young (BIBI), who had successfully deceived Boss Park (Yang Hyun Min).
Once aboard, Kim Hae Il meticulously inspects the ship until he comes face-to-face with Kim Hong Shik. Maintaining his disguise, Kim Hae Il conceals his face with a fan while shooting a piercing glare filled with fury. In turn, Kim Hong Shik matches his intensity with an icy stare, heightening the tension.
In another scene, the two engage in a high-stakes face-off across a chessboard, hinting at a dangerous game of wits. Viewers are left wondering who will emerge victorious in this battle and whether Kim Hae Il can rescue Jung Seok Hee and escape the ship unscathed with his squad.
