"The Fiery Priest 2" Reschedules Finale Air Date Due To 2024 SBS Drama Awards

SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “The Fiery Priest 2” has announced yet another change to its broadcast schedule.

On December 16, SBS stated, “The Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ will not air on December 21 and is now scheduled to conclude with its final episode on December 27.”

Starring Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, and Kim Sung Kyun, “The Fiery Priest 2” is a 12-episode series originally set to end on December 14. However, the drama previously faced delays due to special news broadcasts covering South Korea’s emergency declaration and President Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment proceedings, resulting in cancellations on December 7 and 14.

The upcoming cancellation on December 21 is due to the live airing of the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, which will be broadcast at 8:35 p.m. KST.

Episode 11 of “The Fiery Priest 2” will air on December 20 at 10 p.m. KST, with the finale set to air on December 27.
