tvN’s “When the Stars Gossip” has given an in-depth look at the upcoming drama with a highlight video!
“When the Stars Gossip” will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who has arrived with a secret mission.
The newly released highlight video captures the experienced Commander Eve Kim and Gong Ryong navigating zero gravity. Eve Kim tries to reassure, “We all grew up in our mother’s amniotic fluid—just think of this place as being inside your mother’s womb,” to which Gong Ryong responds, teary eyed, “That’s bullshit.”
Eve Kim asks, “Are you telling me I have to take care of a tourist for eight days?” beginning her tumultuous journey of looking after Gong Ryong in space as he experiences motion sickness while trying to adjust to zero gravity. Gong Ryong further remarks, “I paid 70 billion won (approximately $48 million) to be here. I’m a VIP [tourist].” Although Eve Kim tries to reach out with a helping hand, Gong Ryong refuses.
To make matters more complicated, the preview video also teases Gong Ryong’s current partner Choi Go Eun (Han Ji Eun) becoming intertwined again with her ex Kang Kang Soo (Oh Jung Se).
