Yoo Yeon Seok Gets Upset After Chae Soo Bin Secretly Meets Heo Nam Jun In "When The Phone Rings"
MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” has shared a glimpse of a tense moment from its upcoming episode!
Based on a popular web novel, “When the Phone Rings” tells the story of Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), a couple that married for convenience—and the the romance that blossoms between them after a threatening phone call.

On the previous episode of “When the Phone Rings,” Hong Hee Joo finally admitted to herself that she had feelings for Baek Sa Eon and made up her mind to tell him everything—not realizing that he already knew she was mystery caller “406.” The episode ended with the couple sharing a passionate kiss after Sa Eon reassured Hee Joo about his love for her.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, a new conflict arises between the couple. After Hee Joo receives a mysterious text message, she secretly meets with Ji Sang Woo (Heo Nam Jun) behind Sa Eon’s back. However, Sa Eon winds up catching Hee Joo and Sang Woo alone together—and when he becomes upset and sends Sang Woo a fierce warning, the other man doesn’t back down.
Sa Eon and Hee Joo then get emotional during a serious conversation. After hearing the reason why Hee Joo met with Sang Woo, Sa Eon becomes distraught, and he looks at his wife with a sad expression. Meanwhile, tears well up in Hee Joo’s eyes as she catches her husband off guard with an unexpected response to his interrogation.
