Watch: Yoon Kye Sang Becomes Coach Of Kim Yo Han’s Underdog Rugby Team In New Sports Drama
SBS’s new drama “TRY: We Become Miracles” (literal translation) has released a special teaser!
The upcoming comedy drama “TRY: We Become Miracles” tells the story of Joo Ga Ram (Yoon Kye Sang), a former rugby player who falls from grace due to a doping scandal. He becomes the new coach at his alma mater, taking charge of the struggling rugby team. Together, the fallen star and the underdog team—who have consistently ranked at the bottom—embark on a journey to win the National Sports Festival.
The teaser starts by introducing the rugby team of Hanyang Physical Education High School, which has a dismal record of 25 losses out of 26 games in a single season. Due to their poor performance, they are treated poorly by the school. In an effort to turn things around, a new and extraordinary coach is hired.
Then, Joo Ga Ram appears, introducing himself as a former rugby idol and the MVP of the Rugby Asian Cup. However, it is revealed that some teachers oppose his appointment due to his past doping scandal, raising intrigue about the hidden story behind his downfall.
The video continues to show Joo Ga Ram declaring that the team’s ultimate goal is to win the National Sports Festival. He puts the athletes through various types of training, including aerobics and soccer drills. Despite facing some challenges, such as a conflict with the rugby team captain Yoon Sung Joon (Kim Yo Han), and a breakup with his girlfriend Bae Yi Ji (Im Se Mi), Joo Ga Ram remains upbeat and determined.
Whether this seemingly hopeless team can achieve its goal and whether Joo Ga Ram can restore his reputation remains to be seen in the upcoming drama.
