Shin Ye Eun Exudes Confidence And Elegance As A Violinist In New Film “Secret: Untold Melody”
Upcoming film “Secret: Untold Melody” has unveiled new stills featuring Shin Ye Eun!
A remake of the 2007 Taiwanese film “Secret,” “Secret: Untold Melody” is a fantasy romance that begins when Yoo Joon (Doh Kyung Soo), a piano prodigy and music student, coincidentally meets Jung Ah (Won Jin Ah), who plays enchanting melodies in an old practice room on campus.
Shin Ye Eun will portray In Hee, a violin-major music student who becomes drawn to Yoo Joon, whom she often locks eyes with. In the newly released image, In Hee is seen performing on stage with other orchestra members, holding a violin bow and wearing a confident expression.
Shin Ye Eun shared that she had played the violin when she was younger, explaining, “I thought I could handle the violin scenes well, but I felt like I needed to start from scratch, so I took private lessons from the teachers who had helped me in the past.” She added, “I also made video calls to people in the music field around me and asked them to watch and give feedback on my posture, expression, and overall vibe while I played.”
Director Seo Yoo Min praised Shin Ye Eun for her natural fit for the role, saying, “Shin Ye Eun looked exactly like In Hee the first time I saw her. I was looking for an image of a modern college student who is proud and confident, and she perfectly captured that vibe.”
“Secret: Untold Melody” is set to premiere in January 2025.
