Yoo Yeon Seok And Chae Soo Bin Finally Take The Stage Together In "When The Phone Rings"

Chae Soo Bin’s longtime dream will come true on the next episode of “When the Phone Rings”!

Based on a popular web novel, MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” tells the story of Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), a couple that married for convenience—and the the romance that blossoms between them after a threatening phone call.

Previously on “When the Phone Rings,” Baek Sa Eon and Hong Hee Joo shared their first kiss and finally opened up about their feelings for one another. However, the latest episode of the drama ended on a suspenseful cliffhanger, with Sa Eon falling unconscious while attempting to save Jung Sang Hoon (Kim Joon Bae) from a fire.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Sa Eon has fortunately regained consciousness and is already back at work—albeit with a new wound on his forehead. While Sa Eon hasn’t fully recovered from his accident and is still unwell, he returns to work because of his determination to stand on stage together with Hee Joo.

Right before going on stage together, the married couple secretly communicates with one another using sign language. Although Hee Joo is excited to be fulfilling her longtime dream of giving a speech together with Sa Eon, she remains composed and professional as she carries out her duties. Nonetheless, the couple can’t help furtively stealing glances and locking eyes while they’re up on stage together.

According to the “When the Phone Rings” production team, the identity of the “Professor” who has been secretly communicating with the kidnapper will finally be revealed on the next episode.
