'When The Phone Rings' Heads Into Final Week On New All-Time Ratings High

MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” set a new personal record last night!

On December 28, the popular romance thriller soared to its highest viewership ratings yet ahead of the final week of its run. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “When the Phone Rings” scored an average nationwide rating of 7.5 percent, marking a new all-time high for the drama.

Meanwhile, both Channel A’s new drama “Check in Hanyang” and JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok” earned their highest ratings to date for a Saturday (when their ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays).

“Check in Hanyang” scored an average nationwide rating of 2.2 percent for its third episode, while “The Tale of Lady Ok” earned a nationwide average of 8.1 percent for the night.

tvN’s “Love Your Enemy,” which has just one episode left to go, scored an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent ahead of its series finale.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” remained the most-watched show of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 15.4 percent.
