2024 SBS Entertainment Awards Canceled In Wake Of Plane Crash Tragedy

Following the tragic Jeju Air plane crash on December 29, SBS has announced the cancellation of the 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards.

On December 30, SBS announced that the award ceremony—which was originally scheduled to be held on December 31 at 9 p.m. KST—would not be taking place.

SBS stated, “The 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards originally scheduled for December 31 has been canceled. The live broadcast and recording scheduled for December 31 will not take place. It has not yet been decided whether the event will be rescheduled as a recorded broadcast or presented in another format.”

Once again, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the crash.
