"Harbin" Surpasses 3 Million Moviegoers
“Harbin” has surpassed 3 million moviegoers on the first day of the New Year!
On January 1, the Korean Film Council announced that “Harbin, ” which premiered on December 24, had officially reached the 3 million moviegoers milestone.
Notably, “Harbin” reached this impressive milestone in just nine days, faster than the blockbuster “12.12: The Day,” which was Korea’s biggest box office hit of 2023 (and took about ten days to reach the same figure).
Set in 1909 and starring Hyun Bin as Ahn Jung Geun, “Harbin” is a historical spy thriller about resistance fighters aiming to end the Japanese occupation of Korea. In addition to Hyun Bin, the movie also stars Lee Dong Wook, Park Jung Min, Jeon Yeo Been, Jo Woo Jin, Park Hoon, Yoo Jae Myung, and more.
