Upcoming film “Forbidden Fairytale” has shared a behind-the-scenes video!

With a star-studded cast led by Park Ji Hyun, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, and Sung Dong Il, “Forbidden Fairytale” follows Dan Bi, a woman who dreams of becoming a fairy tale writer but works as a public official cracking down on obscene content. When circumstances force her to write R-rated web novels, she unexpectedly discovers a hidden talent for explicit storytelling.

The newly released video takes viewers behind the scenes of the film’s production and includes interviews with the cast and director Lee Jong Seok.

Park Ji Hyun introduces her character, sharing, “I play Dan Bi, who is both a daring adult web novel writer and an innocent fairy tale author. I took on this role with the hope of revealing a comedic side of myself that I haven’t shown before.”

Choi Siwon, who plays Jung Seok, a member of the Obscene Materials Control Team who helps Dan Bi venture into the world of adult web novels, brought plenty of humor to the set with his enthusiastic energy. Reflecting on working with Choi Siwon, Park Ji Hyun remarks, “He was always ready to go along with whatever I did. Every time I pitched an idea, he would say, ‘Great, okay! Let’s do it,’” hinting at their perfect comedic chemistry.

Sung Dong Il takes on the role of CEO Hwang, a prominent figure in the adult web novel industry in need of a star writer. Introducing his character, he explains, “He might seem like he doesn’t think much, but he’s actually quite mature,” sparking curiosity about his performance. Choi Siwon expresses admiration for the veteran actor, noting, “Sung Dong Il is a master of ad-libs. Every scene with him was a treasure.”

Director Lee Jong Seok further describes the film as a “comprehensive gift set” and encourages viewers to watch.
