Kim Eui Sung Calls In Bae In Hyuk For A Private Meeting In "Check In Hanyang"

Channel A’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Check in Hanyang” has released new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a historical romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.

The newly released stills from episode 5 feature a private meeting between Lee Eun Ho and Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung). Cheon Bang Joo, who typically dons a dragon robe reminiscent of royalty, speaks without hesitation—going so far as to insult the royal family in front of the king—yet manages to feign proper etiquette during critical moments.

In the image below, Cheon Bang Joo is shown bowing at a 90-degree angle to Lee Eun Ho. The meeting occurs at Cheon Bang Joo’s request, sparking curiosity about why he personally summoned Lee Eun Ho and is offering him a meal.

In other images, Lee Eun Ho and Cheon Bang Joo are seen in a tense standoff across a banquet table. Cheon Bang Joo pours alcohol from a kettle and says something to Lee Eun Ho, while Lee Eun Ho responds with unwavering eyes, exuding charisma.

The two sit upright, neither willing to back down, creating an atmosphere of intense tension.

The production team remarked, “This marks the first private meeting between Lee Eun Ho and Cheon Bang Joo after Lee Eun Ho enters Yongcheonru.
