39th Golden Disc Awards Confirms New Air Date

The 39th Golden Disc Awards will now air on January 6 and 7.

On January 3, JTBC revealed that the pre-recorded segment for the Digital Song Division will be broadcast on January 6 at midnight (12 a.m. KST), while the Album Division segment will air on January 7 at 1:20 a.m. KST.

Previously, the Golden Disc Awards Secretariat announced the cancellation of the live broadcasts originally scheduled for January 4 and 5 out of respect for the victims of the Jeju Air plane tragedy. Although the ceremonies will still be held as planned, they will now be pre-recorded for later airing.
