Choo Young Woo Returns Home To Wife Lim Ji Yeon After 7 Years In "The Tale Of Lady Ok"

After seven long years, Choo Young Woo will make his return on the next episode of “The Tale of Lady Ok”!

“The Tale of Lady Ok” tells the story of the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes a false identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.

Previously on “The Tale of Lady Ok,” Sung Yoon Gyeom (also played by Choo Young Woo) hurriedly ran away from home after being framed for treason—and never returned. Years later, “Ok Tae Young” coincidentally ran into her husband, but although she desperately called out to him, he ignored her and left after boarding a boat.

The devastated Ok Tae Young became certain that Sung Yoon Gyeom would never return, but due to his absence, she found herself at risk of being framed as a widow and forced to adhere to strict mourning guidelines for the next three years. In order to protect his sister-in-law, Sung Do Gyeom (Kim Jae Won) set out to find his brother and bring him home. Although Sung Do Gyeom managed to find him and pleaded with him to return, it remained unclear what Sung Yoon Gyeom’s answer would be.

However, newly released stills from the drama’s next episode show Sung Yoon Gyeom ultimately returning home with his brother. After finally coming home at long last, Sung Yoon Gyeom prepares to defend his wife by brushing up on his martial arts skills. But as he spars with Sung Do Gyeom outside, it’s clear that his skills aren’t rusty in the slightest.
