January Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from December 5, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
“Mister Trot 3” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 7,374,191. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “blind,” “all hearts,” and “trot emperor,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “take part,” “compete,” and “fierce.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 89.54 percent positive reactions.
“King of Active Singers” shot to second place after seeing an impressive 116.73 percent increase in its brand reputation index since November, bringing its total score to 6,647,551 for the month.
“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) ranked third with a brand reputation index of 6,224,337, marking a 11.21 percent rise in its score since last month.
“Running Man” took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,273,903, marking an 11.03 percent increase in its score since November.
Finally, “My Little Old Boy” came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 4,228,718, marking a 4.70 percent rise in its score since last month.
