TVING’s upcoming drama “Study Group” has shared a more in-depth look at Hwang Minhyun’s character!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Study Group” is a high school action-comedy about Yoon Ga Min (Hwang Minhyun), a student who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting. At a high school notorious for being one of the worst in the world, he forms a study group and dives into the ruthless world of college entrance exams.

The newly released poster raises anticipation for Hwang Minhyun’s transformation into a studious character who hides his real strength. In the poster image, Yoon Ga Min sends a strong punch, breaking and scattering pencils in the air. Behind his innocent looking appearance, he unleashes his true strength with his sharp fists. The phrase, “I’ve found it! The gaze [of someone] who will study,” raises anticipation for Yoon Ga Min’s journey to forming a study group.

The teaser unveiled alongside the poster depicts the high school life of Yoon Ga Min. Waking up early at 5 a.m. on the dot, Yoon Ga Min gets ready to put his all into studying, strengthening his stamina to help increase his focus.

However, despite his efforts, Yoon Ga Min reveals, “It may be hard to believe, but I’m bad at studying,” showing that he is ranked 279 out of 280 students in the entire school. Despite the remark, “You’re stupid,” Yoon Ga Min smiles brightly and continues his studies.

However, as he enters one of the worst high schools in the world, Yoon Ga Min has to unleash his strength to fight against those trying to disrupt his efforts to study. Along the way, he meets the reliable and passionate contract teacher Lee Han Kyung (Han Ji Eun) and fellow student Kim Se Hyun (Lee Jong Hyun), who appears serious about his studies. The teaser ends as Yoon Ga Min suggests, “Let’s make a study group together. Won’t you study with me?”
