Watch: Rowoon And Park Seo Ham Unwillingly Join Forces To Face A Horde Of Enemies In Upcoming Historical Drama

Disney+ is gearing up for the release of its first-ever original historical drama “The Murky Stream”!

On January 7, Disney+ teased its highly anticipated 2025 drama lineup including “The Murky Stream,” which stars Rowoon, Shin Ye Eun, Park Seo Ham, and Park Ji Hwan.

Set in a lawless Joseon era where the once-clear Gyeong River has turned into a murky stream, “The Murky Stream” follows the tumultuous fates of Si Yool (Rowoon), who hides his past and becomes a rogue, the wise and righteous Choi Eun (Shin Ye Eun), and Jeong Cheon (Park Seo Ham), who dreams of becoming an incorruptible official.

Director Choo Chang Min shared his thoughts, “This is my first attempt at a series and I found that it offers a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of emotions and deep connections between the characters. We worked tirelessly through scorching summers and freezing winters, so I hope viewers will show their support and anticipation.”

Along with new stills, Disney+ also previewed its upcoming drama lineup through a jam-packed teaser. In one intense scene, Si Yul battles a group of men singlehandedly, exuding raw determination. The focus then shifts to Jung Cheon, standing behind him. Si Yul delivers the sharp line, “What do you think? Can you handle it? If you’re scared, step aside and get behind me,” hinting at their tense dynamic and the possibility of an unexpected alliance.
