“Love Scout” is a new SBS romance drama starring Han Ji Min as Kang Ji Yun, a CEO who is fantastic at her job but inept at everything else, and Lee Jun Hyuk as Yu Eun Ho, her highly competent secretary who is great at not only his job but also childcare and housework.

In the previous episode, Ji Yun showcased her professional prowess by persuading Peter Kwon (Lee Hee Joon), the first Asian F1 team chief designer, to be the head director of automotive design in Korea. Ji Yun’s approach to talent acquisition is clear: value for money. Her unyielding standards also extend to underperforming employees, leaving little room for empathy. When her colleague Mi Ae (Lee Sang Hee) advised Ji Yun to show more interest in her staff, she retorted, “Believing in people and waiting for them will only leave you behind. This company wasn’t built to nurture people.”
However, Ji Yun’s cold exterior stems from painful memories. Her father (Cho Wan Ki), who had once promised to live long, always protect her, and not leave her alone, tragically passed away in a fire after assuring her he would return. Since then, Ji Yun has faced life alone, haunted by nightmares in a cold, empty home.
Her journey over the past five years—raising Peoplez to second place in the industry—has been equally isolating. Adding to her scars is a mysterious incident at her previous company, Careerway. During a tense confrontation, Careerway’s CEO Hye Jin (Park Bo Kyung) accused Ji Yun, saying, “Someone died because of you. How dare you walk back in here?” Whispers among employees labeling her a “murderer” also amplified the intrigue surrounding her past.
As her warm and kind secretary Eun Ho enters her life, “Love Scout” promises to explore Ji Yun’s emotional growth, balancing her professional strength with her personal healing.
