Watch: Ji Jin Hee And Lee Kyu Hyung Are Desperate For Subscribers In Chaotic Teaser For New Comedy Drama
KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Lolololol” (figurative translation) has released its first teaser!
“Lolololol” is a comedy about Ji Jin Hee, a washed-up actor (played by Ji Jin Hee) and Jo Young Sik, a once-successful variety show producer (Lee Kyu Hyung), who establish a new content production company.
The new teaser begins with a flashback to the past showing that the two leads have known each other for a long time. The clip then shifts to the present, where actor Ji Jin Hee and producing director (PD) Jo Young Sik are no longer the successful stars they once were.
After founding their own content production company, the two men passionately aim for 3 million subscribers, determined to achieve laughs by any means necessary. Emphasizing their goal, they exclaim in voice-over, “No matter what, you have to make it funny.”
However, despite their best efforts, the journey ahead isn’t an easy one. Even though Ji Jin Hee desperately casts aside his “cool actor” image in order to make their company a success, the duo faces unexpected setbacks, including a devastating cancellation. Yet the two CEOs’ sense of responsibility for their company employees drives them to keep pushing forward. Referring to their staff, they declare, “We have family that we need to protect.”
