January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from December 12, 2024 to January 12, 2025.

BLACKPINK held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 10,162,333. High-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis included “Rosé,” “APT.”, and “Billboard,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “all-kill,” “record,” and “surpass.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 92.89 percent positive reactions.

aespa similarly held steady at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,400,635, marking a 39.90 percent increase in their score since last month.

IVE also maintained their position at third place with a brand reputation index of 5,748,658, marking a 47.43 percent rise in their score since December.

(G)I-DLE jumped to fourth place after seeing a 91.04 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score to 4,608,522 for January.

Finally, TWICE rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,015,031, marking a 33.67 percent rise in their score since December.
