Kim Ji Eun Sets Up A Casino With Help From Her Friends In "Check In Hanyang"

Channel A’s “Check in Hanyang” has shared a sneak peek of its next episode!

Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.

Jung Gun Joo plays the role of Cheon Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru, and DKZ’s Jaechan plays Ko Soo Ra, an upstanding but ambitious young man who wants to restore his family’s lost honor.

On the previous episode of “Check in Hanyang,” Hong Duk Soo declared in front of Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung) and Seol Mae Hwa (Kim Min Jung) that she would prove herself worthy of remaining at Yongcheonru. In the process, she definitively let Seol Mae Hwa know that she wasn’t planning on going anywhere.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Hong Duk Soo sets out to create a casino at Yongcheonru in order to prove her worth. Unlike her friends, who have become official Yongcheonru employees, Hong Duk Soo’s fate is still on the line.

As she goes about setting up her new casino, Hong Duk Soo enlists the help of her three friends, each of whom offers assistance in his own way. Lee Eun Ho brings his bodyguard Beom Ho (Bae Jae Won) to Yongcheonru and introduces him to Hong Duk Soo—but his flashy sunglasses and uncharacteristic attire pique curiosity as to what sort of role he’ll play in their scheme.

Cheon Jun Hwa—who has been trying to get closer to Hong Duk Soo—remains steadfastly by her side in order to help her. Meanwhile, Ko Soo Ra approaches Hong Duk Soo’s endeavor as if it were his own, working hard and sincerely giving the project his all.
