Go Kyung Pyo, Yeo Jin Goo, EXO’s Baekhyun, And More To Star On New Season Of “The Great Escape”
Go Kyung Pyo, Yeo Jin Goo, EXO’s Baekhyun, Kang Ho Dong, Kim Dong Hyun, and Yoo Byung Jae are set to star in the reboot of “The Great Escape”!
On January 13, TVING announced that the reboot, titled “The Great Escape: The Story” (literal title), will premiere in the first half of 2025. Original cast members Kang Ho Dong, Kim Dong Hyun, and Yoo Byung Jae will return, joined by new members Go Kyung Pyo, Baekhyun, and Yeo Jin Goo.
“The Great Escape” is an adventure variety show where the cast works together to solve elaborate escape room challenges. The reboot, “The Great Escape: The Story” will introduce a stage that defies time and space, building on the show’s reputation for its unique premise and engaging puzzles.
The production team shared that the reboot will take full advantage of the streaming platform’s strengths, offering a more advanced storyline and stage design to challenge viewers’ puzzle-solving skills. The original cast will join forces with the new members to showcase their teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
“The Great Escape: The Story” is set to premiere in the first half of 2025.
