Gong Yoo And Song Hye Kyo Begin Filming For New Drama
Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo are set to showcase intense chemistry in their upcoming project with writer Noh Hee Kyung!
On January 13, a representative of the upcoming drama “Slowly but Intensely” (literal title) revealed that filming officially began on January 12.
“Slowly but Intensely” is a new project by renowned writer Noh Hee Kyung, who previously penned “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “Dear My Friends,” “Our Blues,” and more. Set in the 1960s and 1970s, the drama depicts the realistic scenes of people in the broadcasting industry, delving into the lives of stars on stage and the people behind the scenes who create those stars.
Notably, Song Hye Kyo previously collaborated with writer Noh Hee Kyung on the 2008 drama “Worlds Within” and the 2013 drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” making this new modern historical drama their third project together.
Recently, Song Hye Kyo garnered attention for her new short haircut, which she adopted in preparation for this drama. Song Hye Kyo recently appeared on the YouTube channel “Fairy Jaehyung” and shared, “I cut my hair for my next project. It is a project by writer Noh Hee Kyung. The story is set in the ’60s and ’70s.”
Gong Yoo, who is set to showcase powerful chemistry with Song Hye Kyo, is also reuniting with director Lee Yoon Jung for “Slowly but Intensely.” This marks their second collaboration as they previously worked together on the MBC drama “Coffee Prince.”
“Slowly but Intensely” is aiming to complete filming in the first half of this year and is in talks to be released on Netflix as a 22-episode series. Stay tuned!
