Song Seung Heon And Uhm Jung Hwa In Talks To Reunite In New Drama
Song Seung Heon and Uhm Jung Hwa might reunite in a new drama for the first time in 10 years!
On January 14, it was reported that Song Seung Heon and Uhm Jung Hwa are set to star in the new drama “My Precious Star” (literal translation).
In response to the reports, both Song Seung Heon’s agency and Uhm Jung Hwa’s agency confirmed that the actors received casting offers and are reviewing them positively.
“My Precious Star” a romantic comedy that follows the story of a former top star as she attempts to make a comeback. The drama follows the story of a top actress who, after reaching the peak of her career and even winning the youngest-ever Best Actress award, suffers an accident and finds herself transported 25 years into the future.
Song Seung Heon was offered the role of the male lead, Dokgo Chul, a bachelor detective, while Uhm Jung Hwa was offered to play the top star Im Se Ra. Notably, the two actors previously worked together as an on-screen couple in the 2015 film “Wonderful Nightmare.” Anticipation is high for their potential reunion through “My Precious Star”.
