Ha Jung Woo is set to lead a new thriller drama, with Krystal potentially joining the cast!
On January 14, Sports Chosun reported that Ha Jung Woo and Krystal will star in the upcoming drama “The Landlord” (literal title).
In response to the report, Ha Jung Woo’s agency WALKHOUSE COMPANY confirmed, “It’s true that Ha Jung Woo will be starring in the new drama ‘The Landlord.’” Meanwhile, Krystal’s agency Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA) briefly commented, “We’ll provide an update regarding her appearance after confirming.”
“The Landlord” is a thriller drama that follows a struggling landlord who becomes entangled in crime to protect his family and property. While he achieves the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to participate in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real.
Ha Jung Woo will portray Ki Soo Jong, a gentle and family-oriented man who strives to live each day responsibly. However, his circumstances as a debt-ridden landlord force him into a harrowing kidnapping scheme, marking a dramatic turning point in his life.
