BLACKPINK's Rosé Ties BTS's Record For Highest-Charting K-Pop Song On Billboard Pop Radio Airplay Chart

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has soared to a new peak on U.S. radio!

On January 14 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “APT.” had risen to a new all-time high of No. 5 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.

Rosé is the first female K-pop artist ever to break the top 5 of the Pop Airplay chart and only the second overall: “APT.” is now tied with BTS’s “Dynamite” for the highest-ranking K-pop song in the history of the chart.

“APT.” also held steady at No. 5 in its 12th week on Billboard’s Hot 100 (where Rosé became the first female K-pop act ever to enter the top 10 last week).

Additionally, “APT.” remained No. 1 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, making it the first K-pop song to top either chart for 11 weeks.

Rosé’s “toxic till the end” stayed strong at No. 23 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 43 on the Global 200 this week, while “number one girl” ranked No. 83 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 109 on the Global 200.

Meanwhile, “APT.” returned to its peak of No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, meaning it was once again the second best-selling song of the week in the United States. “APT.” also held relatively steady at No. 5 on the Streaming Songs chart and maintained its position at No. 14 on the Radio Songs chart (which measures U.S. radio plays across all musical genres, not just mainstream Top 40 stations).

Rosé’s solo album “rosie” took No. 16 in its fifth week on the Billboard 200, while also staying strong at No. 9 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 11 on the Top Album Sales chart.

Finally, Rosé came in at No. 25 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her 13th overall week on the chart as a soloist.

Congratulations to Rosé!
