Ha Jung Woo Clashes With Kim Nam Gil Over The Mystery Of His Brother’s Death In Upcoming Film “Nocturnal”
Upcoming film “Nocturnal” has released new stills featuring Ha Jung Woo and Kim Nam Gil!
“Nocturnal” follows the story of Bae Min Tae (Ha Jung Woo), who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his younger brother’s mysterious death, the disappearance of his brother’s wife, and the bestselling novel that eerily predicts the incident.
The newly released stills show a tense confrontation between Min Tae, who is searching for the truth behind his brother’s death while tracking his missing sister-in-law Moon Young (Yoo Da In), and Ho Ryung (Kim Nam Gil), who must find Moon Young to protect his novel and reputation.
One still stands out, showing Min Tae grabbing Ho Ryung by the collar as if interrogating him. With a look of cold fury, Min Tae glares at Ho Ryung, who appears confused and caught up in the chaos. This moment raises questions about the connection between Ho Ryung’s novel and the death of Min Tae’s brother.
Another memorable scene occurs when the two characters face off once again. After following hidden clues, Min Tae reaches a remote location, only to find Ho Ryung waiting there as if by some unspoken agreement. Ho Ryung seems to know something, but his intentions remain unclear, while Min Tae’s anger grows. This powerful standoff showcases the intense acting performances of Ha Jung Woo and Kim Nam Gil, with both delivering gripping performances.
Ha Jung Woo described the relationship between Min Tae and Ho Ryung, saying, “It felt like oil and water, with the characters not mixing at all. That dynamic was really intriguing.” He also praised Kim Nam Gil’s performance, adding, “Kim Nam Gil conveyed Ho Ryung’s mysterious qualities with subtle acting and kept the character grounded.”
Kim Nam Gil shared his enjoyment of working with Ha Jung Woo, saying, “It’s always a pleasure to work with Ha Jung Woo. There’s a lot to learn from him, and our chemistry was great, just like in ‘The Closet.’”
“Nocturnal” is set to hit theaters on February 5 KST. Stay tuned!
