THE BOYZ's Eric Joins Sunwoo As "Idol Radio" DJ

THE BOYZ’s Eric is set to join his teammate Sunwoo as a host on “Idol Radio”!

The MBC radio program “Idol Radio” has been hosted solo by THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo since February last year. Starting in 2025, Eric will team up with Sunwoo as a new DJ, bringing his unique charm to the show.

Sunwoo and Eric, both born in 2000, are the youngest members and rappers of THE BOYZ. They previously collaborated as a special unit for the group’s first English song “Honey,” showcasing their strong chemistry. Fans are eager to see how their chemistry will bring a fresh dynamic to “Idol Radio.” While Eric has displayed his variety show skills through programs like “Golf Battle: Birdie Buddies” and “The Genius Paik,” this marks his first challenge as a radio DJ.

During a preliminary meeting with the production team, Eric shared his excitement saying, “I’m thrilled to take on my first role as a radio DJ, and it’s such an honor to be part of ‘Idol Radio.’ I’m excited to meet fans every week and to have the chance to show a new side of myself.”

He also left a heartfelt message for fans, saying, “I’ll probably be quite nervous at first, but I’d be grateful if you could warmly watch over me and find even those moments endearing. Please look forward to DJ Eric on ‘Idol Radio,’ and I hope for your continued support and love.”

“Idol Radio” broadcasts live every Monday and Wednesday night at 9 p.m. KST via MBC Radio’s official YouTube channel.
