Watch: Netflix Unveils 14 Contestants For "The Devil's Plan 2"
Netflix has officially revealed the 14 contestants set to compete in the upcoming second season of the brain survival game show “The Devil’s Plan”!
Helmed by PD Jung Jong Yeon of “The Genius,” “The Great Escape,” and “Girls’ High School Mystery Class,” “The Devil’s Plan” is a high-stakes survival game show where contestants from diverse backgrounds live together for seven days and compete in intense competition and mind-bending games to claim the title of the ultimate brain.
Following the success of Season 1, Season 2 raises the stakes with an expanded roster of 14 contestants—two more than its predecessor—promising even more thrilling and complex battles of strategy. With new rules and an expanded format, this season is set to deliver heightened drama as extraordinary minds from various fields engage in evolved mental duels.
The cast includes legendary Go player Lee Se Dol, who famously defeated AI AlphaGo; actor Justin H. Min, beloved for his roles in Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy” and “Beef”; Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, known for his multifaceted career in music, musicals, and variety shows; JTBC announcer Kang Ji Young, who holds a U.S. CPA qualification; actress Yoon So Hee, a KAIST alumna who graduated early from a science high school; professional poker player and music producer Seven High; former Miss Korea winner and university student Lee Seung Hyun; and Seoul National University student and “EXchange 2” (“Transit Love 2”) star Jung Hyun Gyu.
Rounding out the lineup are KAIST student and model Choi Hyun Joon; singer Chuu; plastic surgeon Kim Ha Rin; 2021 International Physics Olympiad gold medalist Park Sang Yeon; M&A lawyer Son Eun Yoo; and board game master and YouTuber Tino. These contestants, chosen from over 1,000 applicants, will battle it out for the title of the ultimate mastermind.
Producer Jung Jong Yeon shared, “We carefully selected contestants with diverse personalities and skill sets, and I’m extremely satisfied with the lineup. The show is designed as a ‘hall of games’ where participants constantly test their instincts and intelligence.”
