Do Yeon Jin Is Go Ara's Elegantly Charming Stepsister In New Historical Romance Drama

Upcoming TVING drama “The Scandal of Chunhwa” (working title) has unveiled the first glimpse of Do Yeon Jin’s character!

“The Scandal of Chunhwa” is a historical romance drama that tells the story of Princess Hwa Ri (Go Ara) who, after experiencing the heartbreak of her first love, declares her intention to choose her future husband herself. Her groundbreaking decision throws the royal palace into turmoil and entangles her with two men: Choi Hwan (Jang Ryul), the city’s most notorious playboy, and Jang Won (SF9’s Chani), the city’s most eligible bachelor.

Do Yeon Jin stars as Hwa Jin, a princess of Dongbang Kingdom and Hwa Ri’s stepsister. Although the two share different mothers, they’ve grown up bickering and bonding like true siblings. Just like the celebrity-like Hwa Ri, Hwa Jin also boasts an impeccable sense of style, showcasing her flair through both her clothing and accessories. However, while Hwa Jin may rival Hwa Ri in fashion, their taste in men couldn’t be more different.

Despite her ability to match Hwa Ri’s commanding presence, Hwa Jin’s romantic life takes a very different path. While Hwa Ri shocks the palace with her bold declaration to personally select her future husband, Hwa Jin harbors an unrequited love for a man she has admired for years.
