Heo Joon Ho Is The Ultimate Villain Who Takes Pleasure In Manipulating Others In New Drama "Buried Hearts"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Buried Hearts” has unveiled new stills, offering a glimpse into Heo Joon Ho’s character!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.36 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
Heo Joon Ho takes on the role of Yum Jang Sun, a wealthy and powerful professor who was formerly the head of the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Portrayed as a ruthless villain, Yum Jang Sun derives pleasure from being able to control others like puppets, wielding his power without remorse. In the drama, he faces off against Seo Dong Joo (Park Hyung Sik).
The newly released stills showcase Heo Joon Ho’s commanding presence as Yum Jang Sun. In one photo, he is captured with a satisfied smile as he holds a glass of wine, with his eyes gleaming with malice. The image exudes an eerie atmosphere, leaving viewers intrigued about the dark motives behind his character.
Another still highlights his stocky, imposing build. Despite his casual attire—a plain undershirt—his large shoulders and muscular arms hint at his formidable influence, showing that his power extends beyond just wealth.
The production team of the drama teased, “Heo Joon Ho will showcase the true essence of portraying a mad villain through his character Yum Jang Sun.” They continued, “Please show lots of interest and anticipation for Heo Joon Ho’s outstanding performance, as he is set to rewrite the history of villainous characters through ‘Buried Hearts.’”
“Buried Hearts” is scheduled to premiere on February 14 at 10 p.m. KST.
