JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok” has shared a sneak peek of a heart-stopping moment from its next episode!
“The Tale of Lady Ok” tells the story of the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes a false identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.

Previously on “The Tale of Lady Ok,” Cheon Seung Hwi and Goo Deok kept their distance from one another physically, despite sleeping in the same room. Although their feelings for one another had grown stronger than ever as they happily enjoyed life as a fake married couple, they did not consummate their pretend marriage—though they did finally share their first kiss.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, the tension between the couple is palpable during a moment alone in their room late at night. The air is heavy with emotion as the two of them gaze deeply into one another’s eyes—and when Cheon Seung Hwi slowly approaches Goo Deok as if leaning in for a kiss, Goo Deok nervously lowers her eyes as if unsure where to look.
