Mun Ka Young Is Stuck Working For Her First Love Choi Hyun Wook In New Drama "My Dearest Nemesis"
tvN’s upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has unveiled a cute poster of its leads!
Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” will tell the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.
Mun Ka Young will star as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Armed with grit and the willingness to stand up for herself and fight when necessary, Baek Su Jeong is a frequent source of headaches for her boss Ban Ju Yeon, whom she first met through an online game that left her with the most embarrassing memory of her life.
Choi Hyun Wook will star as chaebol heir Ban Ju Yeon, the director of the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. A perfectionist who is the sole heir to his family’s conglomerate, Ban Ju Yeon must hide his hobby and alter ego “Black Dragon” in order to be recognized as a proper heir.
The newly released poster captures Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon holding figurines representing their characters in the game through which they first met. Notably, the speech balloons of Baek Su Jeong’s “Strawberry” figurine and Ban Ju Yeon’s “Black Dragon” figurine indicate that both of them are still thinking about the other.
Meanwhile, the poster’s tagline hints at the fact that both Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon wish to forget the embarrassing memory of their first love: “A new romance has arrived that will erase this wretched first love?!”
“My Dearest Nemesis” will premiere on February 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
