Watch: Mun Ka Young Sets Her Sights On Uncovering Choi Hyun Wook’s Secret Life In Upcoming Drama “My Dearest Nemesis”

tvN’s upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has unveiled new character teasers!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” will tell the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young stars as Baek Su Jeong, the team leader of planning at Yongseong Department Store. Nicknamed the “director killer,” Su Jeong is no stranger to standing up to authority, refusing to quietly endure life’s challenges. Choi Hyun Wook takes on the role of Ban Ju Yeon, a third-generation chaebol and director of Yongseong Department Store. While striving to prove himself as a perfectionist heir, he hides his secret alter ego, “Black Dragon.”

The first teaser focuses on Baek Su Jeong. It begins with her lying on a bed, smiling shyly as she reminisces about her first love, creating a sweet and nostalgic moment. However, the mood quickly shifts as her smile turns into anger, delivering a dramatic twist. When a “Black Dragon” character appears in midair, Su Jeong pretends to shoot it with finger guns, shattering it entirely.

The scene transitions to Su Jeong standing confidently between Ban Ju Yeon’s nameplate and scattered documents, exuding authority. In a determined voiceover, she says, “My first love. My cursed dark past. I see him in the new director.” She continues, “That’s why I decided to uncover his double life,” teasing an intriguing workplace dynamic and a connection to her first love.

The second teaser spotlights Ban Ju Yeon’s double life as “Black Dragon.” It opens with Ju Yeon smiling warmly as he carefully polishes a pink figurine. Suddenly, he declares, “The meeting starts now,” with a serious tone that adds a comedic touch.

The scene shifts as the secret room transforms into a meeting room, where Ju Yeon appears sharply dressed in a sleek suit, fully embracing his polished and professional persona. He confidently states, “I will perfectly prove I’m worthy of being the heir.”

The teasers leave viewers curious about whether Ju Yeon can successfully keep his true self hidden from Baek Su Jeong, the “director killer,” while proving his worth as a third-generation chaebol heir.
