Son Suk Ku And Choi Hee Seo Confirmed To Star In Hollywood Indie Film "Bedford Park"
Son Suk Ku and Choi Hee Seo will be teaming up for a Hollywood independent film!
On January 21 (local time), U.S. entertainment outlet Variety reported that Son Suk Ku and Choi Hee Seo would appear in the upcoming indie movie “Bedford Park.”
Son Suk Ku’s agency Stannum confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that Son Suk Ku will be appearing in the film.” Choi Hee Seo also confirmed her involvement by sharing a screenshot of the article on her social media.
“Bedford Park” is the directorial debut of writer and editor Stephanie Ahn and tells the story of a Korean American woman grappling with the clash between familial loyalty and her personal aspirations and a former wrestler striving to make amends for his troubled past.
This marks the fourth collaboration between Son Suk Ku and Choi Hee Seo. The duo previously worked together in the 2014 play “Burning Love” (literal title) and the 2023 play “Army on the Tree” (literal title). They also collaborated on the 2021 project “Unframed,” where they joined forces with actors Park Jung Min and Lee Je Hoon to write and direct a series of short films.
“Bedford Park” is expected to begin production this spring.
