Kim Ji Eun Confronts Kim Eui Sung After Revealing Her Identity On "Check In Hanyang"

Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.

The previous episode of “Check in Hanyang” ended with Hong Duk Soo making a shocking move. After Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung) murdered the mother who raised her, Hong Duk Soo ignored Seol Mae Hwa (Kim Min Jung)’s advice to run away and stay as far away from Cheon Bang Joo as possible. Instead, she went straight to Cheon Bang Joo and revealed her true identity, declaring that she was Hong Min Shik’s daughter and wanted to exact revenge on Seol Mae Hwa.
Newly released stills from the drama’s next episode capture Cheon Bang Joo’s reaction to Hong Duk Soo’s surprise declaration. Despite knowing that Cheon Bang Joo was her father’s true enemy—and just how dangerous of a man Cheon Bang Joo is—Hong Duk Soo bravely sought him out and told him her identity, of which he was already aware.
It remains to be seen how the shrewd and politically astute Cheon Bang Joo will respond to Hong Duk Soo’s confession—and why Hong Duk Soo chose to reveal her identity to him.
The “Check in Hanyang” production team teased, “After learning who the true target of her vengeance should be, Hong Duk Soo steps up to wage an all-out war in order to reveal the secret of [her father’s] death from 12 years ago. The fierce conflict and mind games between Hong Duk Soo and Cheon Bang Joo will bring suspense to the small screen.”
