Exclusive: Lee Jun Hyuk Talks About Preparing For "Love Scout" Role, His Go-To Cafe Order, And More
“Love Scout” star Lee Jun Hyuk is receiving lots of love from K-drama fans around the world!
The on-air drama “Love Scout” is a romance drama starring Han Ji Min as Kang Ji Yun, a CEO who is fantastic at her job but inept at everything else, and Lee Jun Hyuk as Yu Eun Ho, her highly competent secretary who is great at not only his job but also childcare and housework.
The drama has now passed the halfway mark and is achieving growing success, breaking double digit ratings and topping Viki viewership rankings in over 120 countries.

What was your first impression of the “Love Scout” script?
The story felt like a simple yet warm homemade meal, and it made my heart feel warm.
What did you especially pay attention to for this role?
As it is my first time acting with a child, I thought that I need to [adjust] my mindset and go through the process of getting closer to So You [who plays the role of Yu Byeol], so I focused on preparing with that aspect in mind.
What do you think is the greatest charm of your character’s love interest Kang Ji Yun?
I think Ji Yun’s charm is her sharp, decisive personality no matter what decision she has to make.
What was the most memorable food you ate on set of “Love Scout”?
A coffee truck sent by fans was delicious and memorable. The food truck Ji Min prepared was also delicious.
When you watch your own dramas, do you tend to watch the overall flow of the drama, or do you closely analyze your own acting?
I tend to watch the overall flow.
There was a memorable scene in episode 2 involving coffee. In real life, what do you usually drink at cafes?
I drink Cold Brew coffee.
What is your TMI of the day?
Unlike other days, I drank a Dolce Cold Brew today.

저는 전체 흐름을 보는 편입니다.
