Lee Yi Dam Joins Kang Hoon In Talks To Star In New Drama By "Dear Hyeri" Director
Lee Yi Dam may be starring alongside Kang Hoon in a new drama!
On January 24, YTN reported that Lee Yi Dam has been cast in the upcoming drama “Asura Balbalta” (working title).
In response to the report, a representative from her agency Ghost Studio shared, “Lee Yi Dam is positively considering her appearance in ‘Asura Balbalta.’”
“Asura Balbalta” is a healing drama with elements of comedy. It follows the journey of three struggling comedians striving toward their dreams and a woman whose life has fallen apart as they come together to rise above their challenges and rediscover their dreams.
The drama will be directed by Jung Ji Hyun, known for hits like “Mr. Sunshine,” “Search: WWW,” “Twenty-Five Twenty-One,” and “Dear Hyeri.” The script is written by Ahn Ah Reum, the writer behind “Once Again.”
Previously, it was confirmed that Kang Hoon is in talks to star in the drama.
Lee Yi Dam is currently starring as Chae Ryeong in the ongoing tvN drama “The Queen Who Crowns” and is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Netflix original series “Can This Love Be Translated” (working title).
