Hong Hwa Yeon Is A Chaebol Granddaughter Driven By Complex Desires In New Drama "Buried Hearts"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Buried Hearts” has unveiled new stills, offering a closer look at Hong Hwa Yeon’s character!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.36 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
Hong Hwa Yeon takes on the role of Yeo Eun Nam, the granddaughter of Daesan Group’s CEO, who becomes entangled with Seo Dong Joo (Park Hyung Sik). She harbors an ambition to take control of Daesan Group as well as a desire to uncover the truth behind her father’s death.
The latest stills showcase Hong Hwa Yeon’s flawless portrayal of Yeo Eun Nam, as she is seen with stern, cold expressions against a dark backdrop. These visuals perfectly capture the complexity and depth of her character’s emotions and inner turmoil.
Despite being a relative newcomer to the industry, the drama’s production team expressed high praise for Hong Hwa Yeon. They said, “Hong Hwa Yeon is almost a rookie actress, but she perfectly matches the character of Yeo Eun Nam envisioned by the production team. She has a face that embodies both coldness and warmth, an image that blends both pride and loveliness, and an ability to express all these qualities. Please show a lot of interest and anticipation to see how Hong Hwa Yeon will leave her mark on the small screen through ‘Buried Hearts.’”
“Buried Hearts” is set to premiere on February 14 at 10 p.m. KST.
