Kim Min Jung And Kim Ji Eun Share A Heart-To-Heart After Resolving 12-Year Misunderstanding On "Check In Hanyang"

Channel A’s “Check in Hanyang” has shared a sneak peek of its next episode!

Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.

Previously on “Check in Hanyang,” Hong Duk Soo spent 12 years determined to exact revenge on Seol Mae Hwa (Kim Min Jung), who she believed had killed her father. Meanwhile, Seol Mae Hwa—who had promised Hong Duk Soo’s father to look after his daughter—spent 12 years searching desperately for Hong Jae On (Hong Duk Soo’s true name).

However, when Hong Duk Soo finally confronted Seol Mae Hwa about the truth of that fateful night from 12 years ago, she was shocked and confused to learn that she might have been chasing the wrong target all this time. She eventually realized that Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung) was the true culprit, marking the start of a new chapter in her quest for vengeance.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Hong Duk Soo and Seol Mae Hwa share their first conversation after resolving the misunderstanding that kept them apart. Hong Duk Soo’s gaze is conflicted and full of mixed emotions as she looks at Seol Mae Hwa, whom she mistakenly hated for the past 12 years. Meanwhile, Seol Mae Hwa wears an understanding expression as she returns Hong Duk Soo’s wistful gaze, hinting at her maturity and wisdom.

Seol Mae Hwa also presents Hong Duk Soo with a mysterious box before warmly placing her hands over Hong Duk Soo’s, piquing curiosity as to what could be inside.
