Na In Woo Comes To The Rescue Of A Soaked Lee Se Young In 'Motel California'

Get ready for a secret to be revealed on the next episode of “Motel California”!

Based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” MBC’s “Motel California” is a new romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “Motel California,” Ji Kang Hee—who mistakenly believed that Cheon Yeon Soo was in a relationship with Yoon Nan Woo (Choi Hee Jin)—was tormented by jealousy. At the very end of the episode, Kang Hee finally sought out Yeon Soo, but he broke her heart by asking her to give him some time to get over her.

However, newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode suggest that Kang Hee may have a chance to close the distance that has formed between her and Yeon Soo. In one photo, Yeon Soo embraces Kang Hee tightly from behind, and the look in his eyes makes it clear that he’s far from over her.

Other stills show Yeon Soo holding a soaked Kang Hee in his arms in the middle of a lake. After Yeon Soo comes to Kang Hee’s rescue once again, the former lovers gaze deeply into one another’s eyes while just inches apart.

The “Motel California” production team teased, “In Episode 6, a hidden secret behind Kang Hee and Yeon Soo’s painful breakup will come to light. As a result, there will come a turning point in the 23-year story of their first love. Please look forward to it.”

To find out what happens to Yeon Soo and Kang Hee at the lake—and what hidden secret will be revealed—catch the next episode of “Motel California” on January 25 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
